ABOUT US

AJ Fuchs is the owner and head trainer at AJ Performance Horses. He grew up in Wyoming where he worked at a cutting horse program from a young age. This is where is all started and soon lead into roping and rodeo. It started with high school rodeo in Wyoming which lead to college rodeo in Arizona and ultimately landing him in Stephenville, Texas where he rodeoed for Tarleton State. After college is when AJ pursued his training program along with pro rodeo. AJ really enjoyed rodeoing but came to realize that his true passion was training. He trains all aspects of rope horses but specializes in head horses. Great pride is taken in every horse that walks through AJ’s barn, and he truly loves seeing those horses go on to be successful in their field with their new owner.

AJ recently moved his program further South, now located in Spring Branch, Texas. Here he lives with his girlfriend Braelyn Moltz, who you will often see helping him with all aspects of his program. The pair both enjoy the roping and rodeo life style. AJ’s passion for starting young horses and watching them grow and succeed has created the opportunity to start his own breeding program. AJ and Braelyn have worked hard to purchase some really nice yearlings and also own a couple mares that they are breeding to prospective studs. The goal is to grow and expand this program, so AJ can continue to pursue the rope horse futurities with horses they have raised.
